Ramat Bet Shemesh Dalet
The south-west part of the city of Beit Shemesh is currently being shaped by the new huge neighborhood of Ramat Beit Shemesh Dalet, which will cover approximately 6,000 acres and spread across five districts. To its West is Road 38 and on the South the Haelah Valley with Nachal Yarmut and Bet Jamal to its North.
The neighborhood of Dalet will feature advanced and innovative development and is designed specifically for religious families, tending to their unique needs, including synagogues, mikvehs, and various educational and religious institutions, alongside advanced commercial centers.
Dalet will also incorporate spectacular extensive parks including bicycle paths and safe walkways for pedestrians.
Easy access too has been carefully planned for the new neighborhood via the new and expanded Road 38, Road 10 and the new Road 5.
Located in the northern area of Ramat Beit Shemesh Dalet, is the district of Dalet-2 in which 1,322 housing units are currently under construction.
Dalet 4 is situated in the center of the Dalet neighborhood covering approximately 630 acres facing north-west toward Highway 38 and like the other neighborhoods in Dalet it too is surrounded by a scenic promenade.
One thousand seven hundred and ninety housing units are planned for construction in Dalet 4. Areas overlooking the southern and western hills have been designed so that residential buildings will open onto the view of the surrounding landscape.
The neighborhood has been designed around a central park with seating areas, play areas, a view to Tel Yarmot, a natural grove for conservation and more. Pathways to the park connect to peripheral roads offering easy access. In addition to the central park, a number of public gardens and play areas are scattered around the neighborhood in close proximity to public and residential buildings to meet the daily needs of the local population.
